What is the catch with the free tokens?
There is no catch and no trial period that expires. Tokens are only spent when you generate a new study set, roughly one token per set of up to 30 flashcards and 30 quiz questions. Unused tokens never expire. If you need more after your free tokens, you can buy a small pack, but nothing is required to keep using what you have already made.
